Richard Johnson – UNLV Class of 2019 Master of Business Administration ‘19
Richard Johnson graduated from the University of Utah with his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2012. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in New Venture Management at UNLV. Richard is also an associate at the Rebel Venture Fund, UNLV’s student led venture capital organization.
Johnson was awarded the TRIO scholarship, an award given to first generation college students with academic excellence, while attending the University of Utah. Johnson has experience as a manager and leader at organizations such as the University of Utah and Life Time Fitness. He is currently a managing partner at YWE LLC, which oversees projects in wellness and finance.
Zachary Laney – UNLV Class of 2019 College of Engineering Fellow; Master of Computer Science ‘19
Zachary Laney graduated from Concordia University in Austin, Texas, in 2011 with his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Laney is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Computer Science at UNLV.
Laney was awarded the inaugural LVBA/UNLV Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering fellowship in August 2017. Laney, who served as a cryptologist in the United States Navy from 2013 – 2017, plans to use his experiences to help improve Las Vegas’ cyber security systems.
Nevena Cvijetic– UNLV Class of 2019 Master of Business Administration ‘19
Nevena Cvijetic holds two bachelor’s degrees—one in healthcare administration and policy and another in public administration—and is currently earning an MBA at UNLV. Her work experience includes leadership roles in the hospitality, healthcare and nonprofit industries. She is a member of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, National Society of Leadership and Success and is a planning committee member for Joy Prom Las Vegas.
Victoria Mitchell – UNLV Class of 2020 Dual Master of Business Administration & Hotel Administration ‘20
Victoria Mitchell graduated from UNLV with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing in 2016. She is currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Hotel Administration at UNLV.
Mitchell was awarded the Lee Business School’s prestigious Lee Scholar, as well as a Hixson-Lied Success Scholar. Additionally, she served as the Lead International Ambassador for the Lee Business School and Leadership Chair of her sorority, Alpha Phi Omega. Mitchell has experience as a marketing assistant for Madrivo Media and is currently the social media content curator for Banjo.
Jordan Pilkington– UNLV Class of 2020 Master of Business Administration ‘20
Jordan Pilkington holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UNLV. He has founded several start-up companies in health, fitness and financial technology. He is currently pursuing an MBA at UNLV. According to Pilkington, his dream is to pursue venture capitalism so that he can aid young entrepreneurs bring more of a start-up culture to Las Vegas.
John Falcon– UNLV Class of 2021 Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration ‘21
John Falcon holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from UNLV. He has worked in retail and restaurant management, human resources and social services. He volunteers with advocacy groups, which promote the advancement of LGBTQ rights and health and fitness. He is passionate about positively impacting the lives of socio-economically disadvantaged children. Falcon is working to earn both a JD and an MBA at UNLV.
